“Jeffrey Epstein’s Alleged Secret Child Sparks Speculation”

National"Jeffrey Epstein's Alleged Secret Child Sparks Speculation"

Newly disclosed records from the extensive Jeffrey Epstein files have reignited interest in the scandal-ridden financier’s personal affairs, particularly regarding suggestions that he may have had a clandestine child.

The US Department of Justice recently made public a trove of new documents concerning Epstein, the convicted pedophile who passed away in a Manhattan prison cell in 2019 while facing fresh sex-trafficking allegations. Among the released materials were emails, photos, and videos that have prompted fresh inquiries into his connections and potential offspring.

Adding to speculation about a possible secret child fathered by Epstein, there is an email exchange apparently involving Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, who allegedly congratulated him on the birth of a “baby boy” in September 2011.

In the message, sent via BlackBerry Messenger, Sarah, also known as Fergie, seemed to express: “Don’t know if you are still on this BBM but heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy… Even though you never kept in touch, I am still here with love, friendship and congratulations on your baby boy. Sarah xx.”

The email suggests that she received the news from “The Duke,” widely believed to be her former spouse Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. However, the actual truth of whether Epstein fathered a child remains uncertain.

Epstein never publicly acknowledged having offspring, and there is no concrete evidence confirming the existence of a secret child. Nonetheless, well before the recent document release, a 2020 initiative by DNA experts garnered significant attention.

A US genealogy company launched an online platform under the domain epsteinheirs.com with the goal of identifying potential heirs to Epstein’s estate through DNA matches.

According to the company’s founder at the time, around 130 individuals came forward claiming to be Epstein’s children, aiming to establish a genetic connection to the multimillion-dollar fortune he left behind.

Epstein’s known wealth, estimated at hundreds of millions of pounds, would theoretically be inherited by legitimate heirs if a biological relationship could be verified. Participants in the program included claimants from the US, the Caribbean, and Europe, including several individuals from Britain.

Experts involved in the genetic endeavor cautioned that mere contact does not prove paternity, emphasizing that confirming a true biological connection would necessitate rigorous DNA testing and legal processes.

The notion that Epstein might have had children has long been a matter of speculation due to his numerous relationships with various partners, some of whom were affluent or influential, over the years.

Harvey Morse, the genealogist behind the heir-finding website, remarked that Epstein’s extensive sexual liaisons made it plausible that he may have fathered offspring, possibly even grandchildren.

However, skeptics have pointed out that such claims often arise in the context of finances and inheritance, lacking verified evidence, and should therefore be approached with caution.

“Jeffrey Epstein’s extensive sexual history suggests a reasonable possibility that he may have fathered a child,” stated Harvey Morse, founder of DNA firm Morse Genealogical Services. “He might even be a grandfather.”

Epstein’s final known partner was Karyna Shuliak, who reportedly inherited a significant portion of his substantial estate after his demise in 2019.

The latest set of Epstein documents from the Department of Justice discloses that in his last will, he intended to leave his partner $50 million, a 33-carat diamond ring, Little Saint James island, and his New York townhouse. Additionally, she was to receive properties in Paris and Florida, as indicated in the will.

Reportedly, Epstein covered Shuliak’s mother’s expensive medical treatment and potentially assisted in financing the luxury residence where her parents live in Minsk, Belarus, according to the Daily Mail. The 33-carat diamond ring designated for Shuliak was intended for marriage and featured baguette-cut diamonds set in platinum.

This newest revelation emerged as part of the recent release of millions of documents, photos, and videos in the most recent Epstein Files disclosure. Ferguson appears to have maintained communication with Epstein post-conviction, although she had also received financial assistance from him years prior to his sentencing.

In 2001, Epstein transferred $150,000 (£109,000) to Ferguson following a stock sale, as shown in newly revealed documents. This monetary transaction was one of several cash injections Epstein sent to Fergie.
