Business"Bulgaria Tops List for Affordable Summer Vacations"

Bulgaria has emerged as the top choice for an affordable summer vacation this year, according to recommendations for families. TravelSupermarket’s recent data analysis of holiday searches indicated that Bulgaria is the most budget-friendly option, with an average cost of £760 per person for a week-long all-inclusive stay. Following closely behind are Morocco at £852 and Malta at £862 for a seven-night getaway.

Comparing prices across various destinations, Bulgaria stands out with a 7% decrease in costs from the previous year, making it one of the most cost-effective options. Conversely, Cyprus ranks as the most expensive choice at £1,186 per person. Spain secured the fourth spot at £888, while Turkey and Greece placed 11th and 12th, respectively.

Croatia is among the more affordable destinations this summer, with an average cost of £1,046 per person. The country has seen a significant 12% price drop since last year, making it a more attractive option for travelers seeking a bargain.

For families considering long-haul trips, TravelSupermarket highlighted Cape Verde as the top value destination at £1,247 per person, followed by the United Arab Emirates, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Chris Webber, head of holidays and deals at TravelSupermarket, expressed optimism about Bulgaria’s appeal as a cost-effective all-inclusive destination and noted the continued affordability of Tunisia and Morocco. Croatia’s price decrease is seen as positive news for families looking to explore the country without breaking the bank.
