Police are in pursuit of a dangerous individual following a tragic incident where a young child was abducted, and her mother and grandmother were fatally assaulted. The distressing discovery was made by family members at a residence in Cuautitlán, Mexico, where the lifeless bodies of Cindy de Jesús, 25, and her 52-year-old mother Teresita were found, while a six-year-old child was found locked in a bathroom in tears.
Three-year-old Erika Camila, the missing child, was located this morning by law enforcement at an apartment approximately three miles away in Tultepec. However, the suspect, identified as Antonio ‘N’, managed to flee the scene and is currently evading capture.
Authorities have confirmed that the toddler is now under their care. Investigations revealed that a hammer believed to have been used by Antonio in the fatal attacks was recovered at the crime scene, showing signs of blunt force trauma inflicted on the victims. Additionally, the family’s pet chihuahua was found deceased nearby, and several items were reported missing.
According to Teresita’s brother, Rafael Tavera Guadarrama, the tragic events unfolded after a call from his sister in the United States prompted him to check on their grandmother, who had been out of contact. Upon arrival at the scene, a disturbing sight awaited him, leading to immediate police involvement.
Rafael shared that his sister was physically disabled and defenseless, emphasizing the injustice of the situation. He also disclosed that Teresita had previously filed a report against Antonio for domestic violence, citing injuries sustained by Erika, but the case was closed following claims of an accidental occurrence by Cindy.
The fugitive, Antonio ‘N’, remains at large as local authorities continue their efforts to bring him to justice.
