In the course of the search for a missing individual aged 21, a deceased body has been discovered. The missing person, Taylor Stewart, was last seen on New Year’s Day in the Church Heights vicinity of Cookstown, located in Northern Ireland, at approximately 5:30 am on Thursday, January 1.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 7, a body was found in close proximity, in an alley adjacent to a cluster of residences on Church Street within the town.
Law enforcement officials have cordoned off the scene where the body was discovered, and they are currently conducting investigations.
Search efforts for the missing 21-year-old have been ongoing for a week, with Community Rescue Service volunteers and the PSNI collaborating around the clock to search the surrounding area, according to a report by Belfast Live.
The PSNI has been contacted for a statement by the Mirror regarding this incident.
