Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire NHL career, in celebration of his upcoming Hall of Fame induction. The Montreal Canadiens recently announced that Price will return to the Bell Centre on Nov. 10 for the special occasion, following his induction into the Hall of Fame the day before.
As the 62nd member of the organization to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, Price will also join the esteemed Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, reserved for former players who have reached the pinnacle of hockey excellence. Throughout his remarkable 15-year career, the goaltender achieved significant milestones, including a noteworthy 251 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage in 712 games played. Price holds the franchise record for most games played and victories as a goaltender.
The tribute to Price will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Notably, Price was a seven-time all-star and was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft. The Canadiens’ pre-season is scheduled to begin on Sept. 19, with the regular season opener set for Sept. 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
