Seeking his own Nobel Prize, Trump became involved in efforts to resolve conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.
Initially focusing on peace efforts in Gaza and reconstruction, the Board of Peace expanded its objectives due to another incident. During a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September, technical glitches and mishaps occurred, leading Trump to perceive a conspiracy against him. Representatives from various countries, including those with limited political freedoms, were present, reflecting the group’s diverse composition.
While Israel agreed to join, Benjamin Netanyahu’s absence highlighted concerns over potential legal repercussions. Trump’s apparent aspiration to establish a long-lasting leadership role within this coalition hints at his desire for enduring power beyond his presidency.
