Jill Biden’s former spouse, Bill Stevenson, has been accused of murdering his wife after a domestic incident at their residence, as confirmed by authorities. The 77-year-old Bill Stevenson was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the passing of Linda Stevenson, aged 64, on Monday, following an investigation by the police that lasted several weeks. New Castle County Division of Police officers responded to reports of a domestic altercation at the couple’s residence in Oak Hill, Wilmington, Delaware, late on December 28. Linda was discovered unresponsive in the living room, and despite efforts by emergency responders to revive her, she was eventually declared deceased. Bill has been formally charged with first-degree murder and was taken into custody without any issues, as stated in a press release by the New Castle County Police Department. He is currently being held on a $500,000 bail. The cause of Linda’s death has not been disclosed at this time. Bill was previously married to Jill from 1970 to 1975. Following their divorce, Jill married Joe Biden, who later became the 46th President of the United States in 2021.
