Christian Longo, a seemingly ordinary man according to those who knew him, shocked the world with a heinous quadruple murder despite his charming and funny persona. In 2001, the bodies of Longo’s wife and children were found in suitcases near their Oregon home, while two other children were discovered off the coast. Longo, a failed entrepreneur with a penchant for living beyond his means, resorted to theft to sustain his lifestyle. His wife forgave his infidelities, but their relationship deteriorated as financial troubles mounted. Longo fled the country after the murders but was eventually apprehended in Mexico. He was convicted of all four murders and initially sentenced to death, which was later commuted to life imprisonment in 2022. Today, Christian Longo serves a life sentence without the possibility of parole for his crimes.
