A significant plume of dense black smoke was observed billowing over a bustling town center earlier today following reports of a camper van explosion in the vicinity.
The smoke was visible as it ascended over the town of Crewe while the sky gradually darkened this afternoon.
According to an eyewitness, “There has been an explosion involving a van in Crewe. My sibling is present at the scene and has witnessed the smoke.”
Another individual stated, “A loud bang was heard, and a camper van was engulfed in flames. It seems the fire has been extinguished by now.”
The plume of smoke was spotted rising above Alexandra’s Mornflake Stadium on Gresty Road, where Crewe is currently engaged in a match against Harrogate Town this afternoon, as per a report from StokeonTrentLive.
