Drake unveiled his highly anticipated “not so short film” to the delight of his fans, featuring a mix of new tracks and captivating visuals. The hour-long film, titled “Fear of Missing Out (FOMO),” was streamed on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple, showcasing Drake’s summer adventures and extravagant lifestyle.

The film captured moments of Drake dancing in his lavish Toronto mansion, enjoying time with his mother and her friends, and cruising on his lime-green luxury speedboat against the backdrop of the Toronto skyline. Packed with Toronto and Canada references, the video included a scene with Drake and fellow rapper Loe Shimmy donning $150,000 Iron Man suits at the Canadian National Exhibition.

Notable guest appearances in the film included SexyyRed, Stunna Sandy, model Winnie Harlow, NBA star Kevin Durant, and others. Introducing new music, Drake featured unreleased collaborations with artists like Don Toliver, PartyNextDoor, and Yeat, along with nine fresh tracks, including a remix of Ella Langley’s hit “Choosin’ Texas.”

During the Toronto premiere of “FOMO,” Drake announced plans for a world tour in 2027, exciting fans for more upcoming shows. Despite the film being made private on YouTube after its initial airing, reactions from viewers varied. While some found the film underwhelming, others praised it as a testament to Drake’s enduring career in music.

Jamaican artist Spice congratulated Drake on Instagram, applauding his dedication and passion evident in “FOMO.” Leading up to the release, Drake teased fans with hints on social media, building anticipation for the film’s debut. Describing the project as “self-funded surrealism,” Drake encouraged viewers to embrace life’s opportunities and make bold decisions. He also addressed critics, expressing his commitment to the music genre and urging kindness and appreciation for the art form.
