Emergency responders swiftly arrived at a daycare facility following reports of dangerous substances on the premises today. Bright Horizons daycare center in Wellesley, Massachusetts, was the focal point of the emergency, with a significant presence of emergency vehicles on site.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office indicated that hazmat technicians were on their way to support the Wellesley Fire Department at the location. Photographs from the scene displayed an ambulance and various police and fire vehicles outside the building, while aerial images revealed numerous ambulances in the parking area.
According to Wellesley police, around 12:45 p.m., it was reported that “several children had accidental exposure to a commercial-grade dish detergent.” Rescue teams are currently assessing the children, with some already transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation. The children were reportedly taken to the hospital, assessed, and subsequently discharged shortly after the incident.
