A zookeeper in Uzbekistan tragically filmed his final moments before being attacked and consumed by three lions. The man, identified as F. Iriskulov, was attempting to retrieve the escaped animals in a bid to impress his girlfriend at the Lion Park in Parkent. The chilling footage captured the lions initially calm but then becoming agitated as Iriskulov interacted with them, calling out to one named “Simba.”
As the situation escalated, one of the lions suddenly attacked Iriskulov, causing him distress and leading to his screams being heard before the camera fell. When other zoo workers discovered the scene hours later, they found Iriskulov’s remains in the lion enclosure, prompting a response to tranquilize and capture two of the lions while the third had to be killed.
This tragic incident is not an isolated one, as another zookeeper in Thailand was also fatally attacked by lions in front of horrified onlookers. The victim was ambushed by the big cats as he exited his vehicle in an open enclosure at Safari World in Bangkok. Eyewitnesses recounted the harrowing event, with multiple lions joining in the attack before zoo officials intervened, too late to save the keeper.
