Sky has surprised viewers by announcing the comeback of its beloved channel, Sky One. The popular platform, which was closed down in 2021, is set to return with a lineup of comedy and entertainment shows, including new programs like “The Dyers’ Caravan Park” and “Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.”
In addition to new content, viewers can look forward to favorites such as “Rob & Romesh Vs.,” “The Paper,” and “Ted” on channel 106. Sky One will also feature “Saturday Night Live UK,” debuting later this year.
Replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max, the relaunched channel aims to provide a consolidated hub for entertainment content, simplifying the viewing experience for audiences.
Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed the company’s mission to enhance the accessibility of beloved shows for Sky TV customers. The revamped Sky One channel will showcase a diverse range of programming, including new Sky Originals, returning favorites, and the highly anticipated “Saturday Night Live UK.”
Viewers can tune in to Sky One on channel 106 starting February 24. This development coincides with Sky’s announcement of a major upcoming event, teasing significant changes for Sky TV in the near future.
As anticipation builds for the event, speculation is rife about the surprises that Sky may unveil. Mirror Online will be present at the event in London’s West End to provide live updates as the news unfolds, with the announcement scheduled for around 10 am on February 11.
