Lando Norris celebrated his Formula 1 championship victory by embracing his girlfriend Margarida Corceiro at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Despite facing tough competition from Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri, Norris secured the title by finishing third at the Yas Marina Circuit, maintaining his lead over Verstappen.
Charles Leclerc posed a late threat to Norris but couldn’t catch up as Norris cruised to victory in his Ferrari. Overwhelmed with emotion, Norris expressed gratitude to his team over the radio, thanking them for making his dreams a reality.
After the race, Norris shared heartfelt moments with his parents and Corceiro, with whom he recently rekindled his relationship. Corceiro, who has been in the public eye for years, has garnered attention as an F1 driver’s partner, especially after a broadcast during the Singapore Grand Prix focused on the drivers’ significant others.
Reflecting on his achievement, Norris expressed his gratitude to McLaren and his family, acknowledging the challenging competition from Verstappen and Piastri. Despite the hurdles, Norris felt immense pride in bringing success to his team after nine years of dedication.
