“Freely TV: Revolutionizing How We Watch Television”

Tech"Freely TV: Revolutionizing How We Watch Television"

TV viewing has evolved significantly in recent years, transitioning from traditional channel surfing to on-demand streaming via the internet. This transformation now extends to even the programs previously accessible through aerial antennas, thanks to a service known as Freely.

Freely offers access to popular channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 over the internet, eliminating the need for traditional aerial connections. By simply connecting your TV to your home Wi-Fi, you can seamlessly stream all this content without any aerial setup.

As a TV reviewer and tech expert, I made the switch to Freely TV by ditching my aerial, and I have no regrets. Freely is compatible with various TV models, including the budget-friendly Hisense E6N model.

Priced at £249 on Amazon, this 50-inch TV boasts 4K resolution with Dolby Vision, granting users access to terrestrial channels online, along with popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube.

One of the standout features of the Hisense E6N is its substantial price drop since its 2024 launch, providing excellent value for money with its impressive TV capabilities.

With Freely, you can position your TV wherever you have Wi-Fi access, without the hassle of connecting to a roof aerial or dealing with indoor antennas. Whether you want a TV in your kitchen or bedroom, all you need to do is connect to Wi-Fi and let Freely handle the rest.

Hisense has made a significant impact on the UK TV market, offering a range of models packed with advanced technology, from affordable options like the E6N to high-end OLED and Mini-LED TVs such as the 75-inch Hisense U7.

Aside from Hisense, Freely is also available on select Amazon Fire TV models, such as the Fire TV Omni QLED, and on budget-friendly models utilizing the new TiVo platform.

The 50-inch Hisense model delivers the full benefits of 4K resolution, ensuring sharp details on the screen. It supports Dolby Vision for vibrant colors and HDR highlights, including HDR10+ content available on Prime Video.

Powered by the VIDAA platform, Hisense TVs come equipped with various streaming apps, offering a user-friendly experience. Additionally, the TVs support Alexa for convenient voice search functionality.

For those who prefer traditional Freeview, the Hisense TV includes a standard Freeview tuner. However, by setting up Freely upon initial setup, users can access essential broadcast channels over Wi-Fi without the need for an aerial connection.

It’s important to note that like traditional aerial TV, the reliability of Freely TV may be affected by adverse weather conditions. In response to connectivity issues during inclement weather, Freely issued a statement to users earlier this year.
