Farage warns Starmer’s rhetoric could spark violence

PoliticsFarage warns Starmer's rhetoric could spark violence

Nigel Farage expressed concern that Keir Starmer’s remarks at the Labour Conference could incite violence from the “radical left” in a response reminiscent of Donald Trump. The Reform leader, known for supporting unrestricted free speech, criticized Starmer for his language, accusing him of resorting to the politics of grievance.

Farage claimed that several Reform policies had been labeled as racist, including measures to deport illegal migrants, restrict benefits to British citizens only, and deport foreign criminals. However, he failed to mention his own policy targeting individuals with indefinite leave to remain. Drawing parallels to Donald Trump, Farage suggested that groups like “antifa” and the radical left might respond with violence, referencing the tragic death of right-wing figure Charlie Kirk.

He warned that such language could embolden the radical left and endanger elected officials and campaigners. Farage went on to question Boris Johnson’s fitness for office, expressing disappointment in the Prime Minister’s behavior.

In a separate incident, Farage criticized Keir Starmer for implying that he dislikes Britain, listing various issues with the country and positioning himself as the solution. He urged the Prime Minister and Starmer to reflect on their actions.
