EE has introduced new SIM plans to address the growing issue of data depletion among customers. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” offering users an automatic 1GB data boost when they unexpectedly run out of data.
According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature aims to keep customers connected by providing additional data for essential tasks like staying in touch with friends, using navigation apps, and more. These new plans start at £10 per month and come with added benefits such as data rollover and free data boosts, which grant customers extra data on their plans.
Additionally, EE pay-as-you-go customers can access the 5G network for enhanced performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data
While EE’s plans offer unique features like Data Parachute, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff also have competitive offerings in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13.
It is advisable for customers to compare different deals in the market and select a plan based on their specific data needs to manage costs effectively.
