This development impacts a total of 11 sites, including eight managed by Argyll Holidays, which was acquired by Cove UK for £100 million in 2022. Among the affected holiday parks are Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, and Springwood Holiday Park. Administrators are currently exploring potential sale options for the business and have communicated this news to owners.

Seal Bay Resort in West Sussex remains unaffected and is operating as usual. Alvarez & Marsal Europe has been appointed to oversee the administration process for Cove Communities Holiday Park UK Holdco Limited (HPUK) and its subsidiaries. These subsidiaries comprise Cove Communities Venture 2 Gwel an Mor OpCo Ltd, Cove Communities Venture 2 Solway OpCo Ltd, Cove Communities Venture 2 Springwood OpCo Ltd, and Cove Communities Venture 2 Argyle OpCo Ltd.
