In other events, Canadian swimmers Blake Tierney and Ethan Ekk claimed silver and bronze, respectively, in the men’s 200m backstroke. Tierney highlighted the significance of both athletes being on the podium.
Ruck continued her success by contributing to Canada’s bronze medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay event. The women’s team finished in third place, while the men’s team narrowly missed out on a podium spot.
