Tech"Apple Introduces MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 with Latest Chip"

Apple has unveiled new MacBook and iPad models shortly after the release of the iPhone 17. The tech giant introduced the MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 on October 22, featuring the latest M5 chip for enhanced speed and performance, including significant advancements in AI capabilities. Both devices are now available for purchase directly from Apple and Amazon.

The entry-level MacBook Pro M5 512GB starts at £1,599, while the 11” iPad Pro 256GB and 13” iPad Pro 256GB are priced at £999 and £1,299, respectively. Apple’s Pro range offers high-end and powerful products, prompting many consumers to explore financing options from providers like Sky Mobile and O2, with rates starting from 90p per day.

Sky Mobile’s pricing for the iPad Pro M5 series begins at £27 per month, equivalent to 90p daily, for the 11” model, increasing to £34 for the 13” variant. These plans include a minimal 100MB data allowance. Similarly, Sky offers a £35 monthly plan for the MacBook Pro M5 with a £7 upfront cost, suitable for users primarily relying on Wi-Fi connectivity, although an upgrade to a Sky eSIM is recommended for on-the-go usage.

For EE customers, the 11” iPad Pro M5 is available for £89.92 per month on a 12-month plan, with an additional £120 upfront cost. The 13” iPad Pro M5 is priced at £112.42 per month, plus £120 upfront, on the same plan. Flexible payment options ranging from three to 48 months are offered, with the 24-month contracts starting at £67.50 for the 5GB Essentials package.

O2 presents various pre-built plans for both iPad Pro M5 models, starting from £39.20 per month plus £20 upfront for the 11” model on a 1GB Classic Plan. Heavier data users can opt for the 100GB Plus Plan at £51.20 per month and £20 upfront. The 13” iPad Pro M5 is priced at £45.60 per month and £20 upfront on the 1GB Classic Plan, while the 100GB Plus Plan costs £57.60 with the same upfront fee. These plans also include an O2 Extra, such as Disney+ or Amazon Prime, free for a limited period.

Additionally, all 48-month contracts consist of an airtime plan providing data allowances and a device plan, which can be separated after 24 months. Customers have the flexibility to continue both plans, modify them, or cancel the airtime plan after 24 months, potentially reducing costs for those not requiring mobile data access.
