The shocking event took place in Poolville, Texas, on September 20, 2022, when Emma Brown shot her father, Daniel Brown, in the stomach. Fortunately, Daniel survived the attack, but Emma succumbed to her injuries two days later after shooting herself in the head.
A disturbing photograph surfaced showing Emma and her father posing with rifles and handguns on a table filled with ammunition. This photo preceded the violent acts, as Emma had orchestrated a plan to not only kill her family and pets but also involved another 12-year-old girl from Lufkin, Texas. The two girls had plotted to flee to Georgia together. The Parker County District Attorney’s office revealed that the second girl, who remains unidentified, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Authorities received a distress call reporting a shooting, leading them to find Emma lying on the street with a gunshot wound to her head, while her father was discovered inside their home with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
