Sky TV customers are in for a treat as the company has recently rolled out a complimentary upgrade for some users. Those on the Sky Ultimate plan can now enjoy full access to Disney+ at no extra cost, adding popular content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel to their viewing options.
Apart from Disney+, Sky is set to introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to its lineup, enhancing the entertainment choices for subscribers. The integration of Disney+ across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures a seamless viewing experience with features like Continue Watching, search, and voice control.
Additionally, Sky Cinema subscribers will have access to a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For new customers, the Sky Ultimate package is now available starting at £24 per month, offering a comprehensive entertainment package that includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching soon), Hayu (full access from July), and over 130 Sky channels.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the company’s commitment to simplifying streaming and providing a unified viewing experience by bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu in one subscription. Existing customers will benefit from the expanded content lineup at no additional charge, while NOW Entertainment users will receive HBO Max within the app without extra fees.
Sky’s latest updates aim to streamline the streaming experience and offer viewers a more cohesive entertainment experience.
