Several individuals sustained injuries when a truck crashed into a gathering of anti-Iran protesters in Los Angeles, leading to chaotic and panicked scenes.

Video footage captured a U-Haul truck driving through a crowd of demonstrators, causing people to scatter as the vehicle advanced, according to reports from the Express.

Witnesses stated that the driver accelerated towards protesters carrying Iranian flags, seemingly trying to push through the crowd, as reported by GB News.

The truck displayed a large banner with the message: “No Shah, No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah.”

The incident took place during daylight on Veteran Avenue in the Westwood area, where hundreds had congregated to protest against Iran’s Islamic Republic.

One witness, Susie Shoshana, recorded the event on her phone live.

“At a party on Veteran Avenue, walked out to find the Iran protest march right in front of the building,” Ms. Shoshana recounted.

“Caught on video this individual ramming his U-Haul through the protest.”

The truck eventually halted and was quickly surrounded by protesters, with some seen breaking the vehicle’s windows as tensions escalated.

Further footage depicted the driver being pulled from the truck by law enforcement officers, with onlookers audibly screaming nearby. As the suspect was being escorted away by police, some protesters attempted to physically confront him, leading to police intervention to disperse the crowd and restore order.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that three people were injured by the truck during the incident.
