Sky has revealed adjustments to its TV channel lineup, set to go live imminently. Sky Showcase and Sky Max will no longer air content starting February 24, but a beloved channel is making a comeback to fill the void. Sky One is returning with a lineup of comedy and entertainment shows, including new programs like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. The channel will also feature favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted.
Moreover, Sky One will be the exclusive home of Saturday Night Live UK. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the relaunch, emphasizing the channel’s unique content mix. Sky One is slated to launch on channel 106 on February 24.
In addition to the channel launch, Sky is introducing a new plan called Ultimate TV. Priced at £24 per month, subscribers will gain access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. The package will also include over 130 premium channels like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime. Sky Cinema users will enjoy a dedicated Disney movie channel on their TV guide, enabling seamless viewing of Hollywood hits without accessing the Disney+ app.
