InternationalIran Warns of Retaliation Against US Amid Violent Protests

Iran has issued a strong warning of retaliatory strikes against the US if President Donald Trump intervenes in the ongoing protests. The country witnessed violent unrest with over 500 reported deaths and 10,000 arrests, leading to chaotic scenes in Tehran and various other locations.

Amid discussions of US involvement to support the protesters, Iranian officials declared that the US could be a target of retaliation. Opposition groups in Britain shared accounts of police violence against protesters, highlighting acts of bravery by citizens facing armed forces.

Reports emerged of civilians confronting authorities with pots and pans, even as hospitals struggled to cope with the influx of injured individuals. Witnesses described heartbreaking scenes of violence, including direct attacks on young protesters.

Despite internet restrictions, demonstrators managed to share information using specialized technology, bypassing the government’s censorship. Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf threatened the US and Israel, labeling them as potential targets in case of US aggression.

President Masoud Pezeshkian blamed the US and Israel for fueling the unrest, accusing them of instigating violence within the country. The police chief mentioned a heightened crackdown on protesters, targeting key figures allegedly responsible for the disturbances.

In a show of support, President Trump expressed readiness to assist the Iranian people in their pursuit of freedom. Meanwhile, opposition groups urged for international support to push for the downfall of the Iranian regime.

Videos from Tehran depicted intense clashes between protesters and security forces, with reports of casualties and widespread unrest in various districts. The situation escalated with masked protesters engaging in confrontations and setting vehicles on fire.

Human Rights activists reported a significant number of casualties and arrests, primarily attributed to live ammunition and close-range gunfire. Exiled figure Reza Pahlavi, son of Iran’s last Shah, rallied for continued protests and praised international attention on the situation.

Pahlavi’s message encouraged unity among protesters and cautioned against endangering lives, emphasizing the need for collective action. The ongoing turmoil in Iran has drawn global attention, with calls for support and solidarity with the Iranian people.
