The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed a common habit of misplacing her mobile phone, which led to receiving Christmas gifts related to phone tracking. This revelation came during a recent interview with Giovanna Fletcher, the winner of “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here” and a popular podcaster.
In a past appearance on Giovanna’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast in 2020, Kate discussed personal topics like mom guilt and parenting while emphasizing her work with the Early Years initiative. Giovanna disclosed in an interview with The Times that Kate struggles to keep track of her phone and receives gifts to help her avoid losing it.
Despite her phone-related difficulties, the Duchess of Cambridge has raised concerns about the negative impact of smartphones and technology on family relationships. In collaboration with Professor Robert Waldinger, she highlighted the importance of fostering strong connections with loved ones for a fulfilling life. Kate emphasized the need to limit distractions caused by digital devices and prioritize meaningful interactions with others.
In a separate instance, Prince William shared that none of their three children currently have their own mobile phones. He mentioned that managing 12-year-old Prince George’s access to technology, particularly the internet, has become a delicate issue. Prince William stressed the importance of controlling children’s online exposure and suggested introducing phones with limited functionalities at an appropriate age.
