Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly influenced Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to attend the Royal Family’s annual Christmas gathering to gather information about himself that he missed. Andrew, who lost his titles last year and was sent to Sandringham by King Charles III, spent his previous Christmas at Royal Lodge. This year, his daughters, still part of the inner circle, were seen at the Norfolk estate with their families attending the traditional Christmas mass at St Mary Magdalene church.
According to royal experts, Andrew insisted that the sisters attend the event to gather insights on public opinion about him. Ingrid Seward, a respected royal author, stated that she believed the Princesses had no choice but to comply with Andrew’s request, as he sees them as his connection to the Royal Family.
Former Sun royal correspondent Charles Rae supported this claim, suggesting that Andrew would eagerly seek information upon their return. Andrew and Ms. Ferguson did not attend last year’s Sandringham gathering, and they have been absent for some time due to ongoing controversies.
It is noted that Andrew is now considered an outsider to the royal circle and is no longer invited to royal events. On the other hand, there is optimism that Ms. Ferguson could potentially rebuild her reputation given her ability to reinvent herself.
The couple is expected to reside in a new property within the Sandringham estate, indicating a continued separation from the royal family.
